In the end, it was Austria’s JJ who triumphed with his operatic ballad Wasted Love. The artist won the contest with a points tally of 436. fter an incredible evening in Basel, Switzerland, last year’s Eurovision winner, Nemo, handed the trophy to JJ after they won the Contest with their song Wasted Love and, along with it, the responsibility of hosting the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Austria next year!
